What Is FCPS Part 1 Dentistry?

FCPS Part 1 in Dentistry is the entry-level qualifying examination for candidates seeking residency training in Dentistry and Oral Surgery (for BDS graduates). It is conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and assesses foundational knowledge before progression to FCPS Part 2 and specialty training.

Passing FCPS Part 1 in Dentistry is a prerequisite for joining accredited postgraduate training programmes at CPSP-recognized hospitals.

International graduates: Foreign medical degrees must be verified and equated by PMDC.
