The Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) is conducted by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, on behalf of the Government of Punjab's Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, under the Central Induction Policy (CIP).
Passing PGET is mandatory for admission to Level-III postgraduate medical and dental programmes (MD, MS, MDS and FCPS) for the January 2027 intake. Passing the test alone does not guarantee admission; candidates remain subject to eligibility requirements, merit criteria, and seat availability.
